Bookings through your own website, social links, and in person carry 0% Buddy commission. Buddy only earns a commission on bookings through a Buddy Website we build and host for you, or on new guests we bring you through the Buddy Marketplace.

Your customer does. The 5% booking fee is added at checkout and shown clearly before they pay, on every online channel: your own website, booking links, a Buddy Website, or the marketplace. In-person and cash payments carry no Buddy fees.

Card processing (~2.5–2.9%, set by Stripe) is also paid by the customer at checkout. You receive the activity price you set.

No. Bookings through the Buddy widget on your own website, your shareable booking links, and bookings you take in person or over the phone carry 0% Buddy commission.

You brought the customer, so we take nothing. On online bookings, your customer pays the 5% booking fee at checkout; in-person and cash payments carry no Buddy fees. Either way, you keep the full price of your activity.

Payments run through your own connected Stripe account, and payouts go straight to your bank account.

Stripe charges card processing of roughly 2.5–2.9% per transaction, depending on the card and country. Stripe sets and updates these rates, not Buddy, and the fee is paid by the customer at checkout.

To publish activities, your business needs a Stripe account registered in a Stripe-supported country.

No. Every Buddy for Business account gets the full toolkit, whichever channels you sell on.

That includes your booking calendar and scheduling, dive manifests, unlimited digital waivers, customer types and booking questions, deposits and automatic balance payments, automated reminders, shareable links, the website embed, and finance reporting.
